Web sites on tight budgets

How do I get a web site that wont cost the earth?

All suburbs have at least one local community group like yours whether it's a junior sporting club, a resident action group or hobby club. As you know, these groups don't have alot of money but they need to communicate to their members. Most do via email which can get lost with other email. The best way is to have a web site that is presentable, easy to find information and can share up to date information with the group's members.

This where we can help:

Here is a tip, just go to Google™ Sites which is part of Google™ Apps suite. It is really easy to get started and best of all you don't have to pay hosting fees. The Google™ Apps suite includes email, online document editing ( including word processor, spreadsheets, slides and forms), and calendar. You can embed videos ( there is space restriction on the free version) and photos. In short, anything you can do with Google™ is available to you.

Not only that you can make money off the site using Google™ advertising.

I can do this myself, why do I need you?

You can do it if you have the time and the technical acumen. That's why we have given you the links.

Our focus is on groups that don't have the time and want to be sure they get the right training and advice.

OK, If I get you do it, how much and what will I get?

We charge a one off $350 + GST fee (Aust dollars). This offer is only for micro businesses, small community groups, small sports clubs etc - we evaluate this on a case by case basis.

For this low price, we will:

1) Set up the Google Apps and a Google Site for you. Content updating is your responsibility. Note we do not do art work or branding, we can put you in contact with people who do.

2) Give you a 1 hour training session on how to update and use the features in Google Sites..

3) Assign your web address to the site. By default the web address for a Google Site is like this:

https://sites.google.com/a/reefsoftware.com.au/myClub-demo-/

We will change it to something like this:

http://www.myClub.org.au

4) General support until you broadcast your site to the world.

What does Google charge?

At the time of writing, Google does not charge for the standard version of Google Apps(Sites). You can find more by going here.
